'Cinematic dancing might be said to occur as any film maker is moved to include his whole physiological awareness in any film movement' Stan Brakhage

Footnotes:
The piece was filmed over the course of an afternoon in Mill Road Cemetary in Cambridge, using footage of a single tree. I had a very clear idea of what and how I wanted to frame the elements involved, but had no idea of how the resulting footage would look. For me, the piece is entirely about movement, and resonates strongly with Brakhage's writing on dance and film, and the assertion that work created by a dancer can simply be categorised as dance.
