During October the central section of Three Orchestral Variations is being shown as part of EDIT, Budapest, and Splice is being shown at Oslo Screen Festival.
Text Field is being shown as part of LACDA's DigitalArt.LA exhibition during August, and Splice is included as part of Dança em Foco, Brazil in September.
Trace is being screened at ADF's Dancing for the Camera held at Duke University, North Carolina during July, and Text Field is included in the Lumen Eclipse Typography programme, in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Trace and Splice are being shown as part of VDance in Tel Aviv and Il Coreografo Elettronico, Naples in June.
From May to October Trace is being shown as part of ReelDance International Dance on Screen Festival, Sydney and subsequent touring programme.Reviewed at RealTime 85.
During April Splice is being shown as part of Moves08 in Manchester and Flicker at Live Screen, Sadler's Wells.
In March, Splice received the jury award of second prize at GstaadFilm Festival, Switzerland. Reviewed at Gstaadonline.
Shiftwork was founded in Cambridge in 1999 by dancer and choreographer Chirstinn Whyte and photographer and digital artist Jake Messenger.
Shiftwork is an artist-led organisation committed to developing original and innovative work which crosses the boundaries between visual art, digital technology and dance.
Work has been created operating independently of traditional production, distribution and funding contexts.
