Geneva/Gstaad

Filmed over three hours of footage on the train journeys between Geneva Airport and Gstaad, and am in the process of editing down to find a series of pieces. These stills are from a work-in-progress dealing with very abstracted motion blur.

Glacial

Series of stills, taken in March from a cable car in the mountains above Gstaad, Switzerland. I was attending Gstaadfilm, as one of my PhD pieces was screened, and the trip generated a large amount of new footage currently being worked on.

Hand Held

This blog records the development of work filmed with a mobile phone camera, and is an outgrowth from my PhD research into choreographic practice for screen. The focus of the work is movement based, and aims to explore the potential for motion-led filming practices, drawing on my own professional background in dance, without being conventionally dance oriented.
